FELA Tab: Privacy Policy

Summary

FELA Tab runs its AI model entirely inside your browser, using WebAssembly. Your spreadsheet contents are not sent to us or to any third party. We have no server that receives your data, because the add-on does not need one.

What the add-on accesses

  • The currently open spreadsheet only. FELA Tab requests the spreadsheets.currentonly OAuth scope. It can read and write only the single spreadsheet you have open when you use it. It cannot see, list, or access any other file in your Google Drive™.
  • Sidebar display (script.container.ui). Used to show the add-on's sidebar. No data access.

What we collect

  • Nothing from your spreadsheet. Cell values are processed on device, in your browser, to compute predictions, and are written back only into your own sheet when you choose to accept them. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
  • Model and runtime files. Your browser downloads the model and WASM runtime (about 52 MB, one time, then cached) from our content delivery host. That download is code and model weights only, a normal static file fetch. It never includes any of your spreadsheet data, and the response never depends on what is in your sheet. Standard web server logs (IP, timestamp, file requested) may be recorded by the content host, as with any file download.
  • No analytics on sheet content. We do not track, log, or analyze what is in your spreadsheet, what predictions you generate, or how you use the add-on's data.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not upload, store, sell, or share your spreadsheet data.
  • We do not use your data to train models.
  • We do not show ads or embed third party trackers in the add-on.

Data retention

We do not retain your spreadsheet data because we never receive it.

Third parties

Model and runtime files are served from our content delivery host (a CDN). That host serves static code and model weight files only, it never receives spreadsheet content, prediction results, or any other user data. No other third parties are involved in processing your data.

FELA Tab's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. FELA Tab does not transfer or use Google user data for serving advertisements, and does not allow humans to read this data.
